If you are determined enough anything is possible.
And it does help to have grace. I've been dancing for 21 years now and teaching for 10 so i've seen dancers start at many different ages and abilities. But it is really the attitude you have to have if you want to make your dream come true.
So with that said, yes it is possible for you to become a ballerina.
Have fun with whatever you do and always smile. See ya on the big stage.

yes! l am just about to turn 14 and have only been dancing for a year and a half and i'm just about to go en pointe, it is completely possible if you believe in your self :]

Yes! The long as you work at it you can be amazing. l know a ballet dancer who started at 12 and is apsolutely amazing!

i know exactly how you feel, l just started ballet a few weeks ago and there were 17 year old girl in my class! wow. so l suggest you start now before its too late. Ballet is so much fun, you will love it!
