UC Irvine At least at Irvine, u will be near LA & virtually EVERY major choreographer in the country. Desiree Robbins from Tremaine used to teach at Irvine. l am not sure if she still does. But even so, u can always go take class at the Edge in ur spare time. If u plan to dance as a pro, u will need to be in LA to make good connections. New York is also a great city to be in. In my own experiences, NY is more focused on the art, study, technique, & beauty of dance while LA is geared toward getting jobs as dancers. If u can do it all, train in NY & get work in LA. OCU also has a good program.
