im 13 yrs old and dancing is like my life!
hop hop arabic ANYTHING!
i just love to do it=]
but whenever l see my best friend dance l look at myself and im like WOW!
and l hate feeling like that beacuzz b4i saw her dance l was like l dance really good then wen l saw her dance im like -___- great
and evey year at skool we hav a dance off last year l did it and l got 4th place she didnt do it..
and if she duzz do it this yr like l think shell beet me..

its not that l think l cant dance wen l see her l know l can ...theres moves she cann do and l cant and moves l can do that she cant...its just that wen isee her dance l get self concious

PRACTICE! Practice and learn some new moves, and then when its time for the dance off, you can win.

keep practising and entering contests!
then when u are old enough and out of high school, try out for juliard
its the best musical school out there
you can show tehm ur moves and they can put u in
then scouts come and see and and put u on their shows until finally u can be a dance teacher and teach other kids as passionate as u

also, ur moves are different and banging. hers are normal so just SMILE and win

everyone gets a little jealous when they see someone do something that they can not
the only thing you can do to help prevent that is to practice, but whatever you do do not put her down.
that is no way to keep a friend.
But if you want to beat her in this dance off, practice practice practice, and l promise you and others will see a ton of improvement

Enter the dance off but start practicing your routine without letting her know a few weeks before. make sure its awesome and practice practice practice till every move is down perfectly. Also make sure you are doing a different type of dance than her. Like if she is doing hip hop make sure you do something totally different like ballet or lyrical. yes you need to practice! but when you dance you need to dance for you not against her judges want to see who can feel the music and can dance to the music, not who can put the most moves in a dance.Sound to me if you be your self you will win. good luck

if dancing is your life then you should be good theres no reason to feel self concious with your friend l think you just need to practice, not worry about her, and do your best and then you can win and if you dont beat her you can still be friends right?
